​​Born and raised in New York, Michael L. Sussman began his real growth after moving to the Pacific Northwest, where he now greets each day with gratitude and fosters cats. His paradoxical life has included social activism and solitude, factory work and theater, cooperative living and family devotion.

A re-emerging writer, Michael has a background that includes film reviews, songs, comedy material, and theatrical scripts. His short stories have been published in Star 82 Review, Piker Press, and other journals. Under a Tie-Dye Sky is his first novel.

Michael lives on the woodsy edge of Eugene, Oregon.
